Selling Art

I work as a graphic desire for an hourly rate for a newspaper publisher. I recently have decided to branch out doing graphics for stock art sites. My question is, is it ok to use graphics previously designed for the newspaper? I know that I cannot sell covers to publications, but maybe a background graphic I used in the cover?

I’m trying to raise some funds quick offering art at a cheap price, but I’m running out of customers on the two forums where I’m selling them. Anyone else know of a place where someone might be interested? I draw mainly the customers’ original characters.

Can anyone suggest the best way to sell clay sculpture art online? I am a new mum and I have always wanted to be a working artist. Now that I am at home all day I want to put it into action, but I don’t know where to start.

I want a poster of an illustration from a children’s book. I can’t seem to find it. Can I buy the book and create a decoupage of the illustrations on canvas or is that illegal?
Jungle Gym Jitters by Chuck Richards – I saw a poster of his of a treehouse in a children’s hospital that we were taking my daughter to… I want it really bad for my son’s room, which is a camping themed room. Can’t find another poster like it, only the book.

On what sites can i sell my art work and how much is it to sell it on different sites?

I need to make a little extra money on the side so I want to start selling my art, jewelry, and beanies that I made on a website that is free. I have 3 questions…

1. Where is a good place I can start a website?

2. What would be a reasonable price to start selling at for mostly pencil, colored pencil, and paint drawings?

3. This may sound dumb but… I have a ton of stuffed animals that I really don’t need, is it possible to sell those for a dollar or two extra on any purchase made? They are new and not worn out at all.

Ok so I play on a lot of virtual pet sites where people make up characters and such and there is a huge market for the art. I like to draw their characters digitally and have been offered real money commissions. I thought about using paypal but I’ve read a ton of horror stories and have decide against it. I need answers from people who are experienced in selling art that is purely digital (no tangible object) without having to make a store/website or anything of the like online. My art would go for between 2 – 5$ so I’m looking for a site thats free, user friendly, safe, and has low transaction rates.

* I don’t want a huge list I would like someone to answer who has experience using the site you suggest.

Actually they do, it’s a kids site. I didn’t ask about my art I asked about how to go about selling it. You come here don’t answer my question, are rude, then talk to me about professionalism. What a hypocrite. XD
